Panda details

Well, you'd expect nothing less from a Panda. Emissions have been reduced to among the lowest in its class and, of course, it's incredibly fuel-efficient.

The Panda is no gas guzzler. In fact, the award winning 1.3 Multijet engine achieves an impressive 65.7mpg, so you could zip up the motorway from Edinburgh to Dover on less than a tank.

You may find yourself tapping the Panda's fuel gauge needle to check it's still working. But don't worry, there's nothing wrong with it, it's just that Multijet engines are among the most fuel efficient available. And less time spent refuelling means more time to enjoy driving.

Safety

The front seatbelts have pretensioners to take away any slack in the first milliseconds of a crash. And the load limiters mean you won't be injured by the restraining force of the belts. 

The Panda protects you with all-round safety. You get driver and passenger airbags as standard, but you can have up to six with side and window airbags, to keep everyone travelling with you safe.

Pandas are packed with safety features. ABS stops the wheels locking up while the EBD distibuted the braking force across the wheels, for effective braking in all conditions.

Our award winning Multijet engines aren't like other diesels. You'll enjoy a smoother, quieter drive and lower emissions - all while using less fuel.

Opt for the Duologic system and you can change gears without a clutch pedal. Just flick the gear lever forwards or backwards and the car does the hard work for you.

Technology

Pandas are so packed with features as standard that it's a wonder they're so nippy. The CD Player is just one of them. Put on your favourite album and hit the road to your favourite soundtrack.

No need to take your eyes off the road to work your stereo. Add steering wheel mounted audio controls to you Panda and you're ready to Rock and Roll. 

Create a virtual jukebox in your car with access to thousands of tracks. An MP-3 compatbible CD player is standard on Dynamic and Eleganza models, or optional on the Active. And if you really want to hear the bass, opt for the subwoofer with six speakers. 

Interior

This great space can be exactly tailored for your passengers and luggage. Choose the sliding ‘sofa’ version and you get a rear seat that can move 8cm backwards and 8cm forwards. Luggage space grows from 176 dm3 to 235 dm3 in seconds. Fold down the rear seat completely in any New Panda and you’re looking at a huge 775 dm3 load space.
