One of the great things about leasing an electric car through the Motability Scheme is that they arrange and cover the standard cost of a home chargepoint and its installation, if you’re leasing your first electric car on the Scheme.
Having a chargepoint fitted at your home is the most convenient and cost-effective way of charging your electric car.
You can have a chargepoint installed at one of your approved drivers’ addresses, but you need to contact us to discuss this and get approval.
Motability only pay for one chargepoint to be installed at the start of your first electric lease, so you need to be sure you will not change that driver during your lease.
If they're not able to fit a home chargepoint at your home, you’ll be given access to the bp pulse network for easy public charging.
If you have any questions or issues with your home chargepoint, please speak to your chargepoint installer directly.
