Key Features

Load space and access

The Transit is a large van that provides impressive load space in all three dimensions: load length, width (from wheel arch to wheel arch), and usable interior height. With 15.1 cubic metres of load space, you can fit cargo over 3 montres long. The Ford Transit has a carrying capacity of up to 2.1 tonnes which means you should never be short on space for cargo, allowing you to transport almost anything. Wide side load doors, optimised opening height, and a rear access step are all features designed to ensure effortless access and loading.

Range of engines

The Ford Transit (large van) range features advanced 2.0-litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engines that are more efficient and more powerful than ever before. With four powertrains available offering up to 185 PS of horsepower, you're guaranteed to find the perfect Transit to meet your specific needs. Customers who may need a bit more power have the option of our Heavy Duty Truck (HDT) engine. The HDT engine can produce even more torque, making it ideal for heavier van conversion solutions.

Pre-collision assist

Pre-Collision assist with Pedestrian Detection uses radar and camera technology to scan the road ahead of your Ford Transit Van. If the system detects a collision risk with a vehicle, pedestrian, or cyclist, it will issue you with a warning. If the collision warning is not responded to timely, the system can automatically apply up to full braking in order to assist in the prevention or reduced severity of frontal collision.

Ford ecoguide

The Ford EcoGuide is designed to help improve fuel efficiency. The innovative system from Ford continually assesses the effects of your driving behaviour on your fuel consumption. The system analyses acceleration, speed, gear changes, braking and anticipation levels, plus the number of journeys made including their length. The Ford EcoGuide then feeds this information from your Ford Transit back to you on the dashboard so that you can improve your driving style to better suit maximum efficiency. The aim is to save you money over the life of your van.
