You can start an apprenticeship whether you’re starting your career, want a change or you're upskilling in your current job. You can have a previous qualification like a degree and still start an apprenticeship.
As an apprentice you’ll:
An apprenticeship is a real job where you learn, gain experience and get paid. You’re an employee with a contract of employment and holiday leave. By the end of an apprenticeship, you'll have the right skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career. It can take between one and six years to complete an apprenticeship depending on which one you choose, what level it is and your previous experience. It’s funded from contributions made by the government and your employer.
As the Managing Director of Vospers, I am very keen to attract the best young people in the South West. We offer apprenticeships in all departments across the business.
Apprentices at Vospers have the same opportunities as employees, earning a salary and working alongside experienced staff. Unlike new university students our apprentices aren't weighed down by tuition fees or debt by the time they graduate. In fact, Vospers will be paying you to gain a qualification instead.
You will learn from experienced professionals on the job, and will also be trained externally. We will ensure that you always receive the support and guidance you need. Along with comprehensive training, you could also gain a work-based qualification such as a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ).
