Vospers have been a Motability Partner since the scheme began back in 1974. With an experienced and accredited team of Motability Specialists on hand in all of our dealerships, we have been providing brand new cars, vehicle adaptations, and vehicle servicing to scheme members for almost fifty years.
Used Car Sales
As one of the largest retailers of used cars in the South West, Vospers provides customers with a comprehensive choice of vehicles, with both manufacturer approved used programmes and our own Vospers programmes, including Vospers Approved Used, and Vospers Premium Used.
Commercial Vehicle Sales
Our Vospers Van Centres operate as a one-stop-shop for local businesses and their commercial vehicle needs. We offer expert advice from specialist commercial vehicle advisors for a range of manufacturers.
A message from Jonathan Tremain – Sales Director
I began my career with Vospers in 1998 after leaving the armed forces. I joined as a trainee salesperson in the Penzance branch, and over the next 15 years developed and trained with Vospers in various roles of retail, fleet and business sales, Motability sales with cars and commercial vehicles, growing in the business from trainee to qualified sales person, controller, business manager, sales manager, contract hire and rentals manager, and centre manager for Cornwall. In 2010, I became the Sales Director for the group. This means I control and look after all car and commercial sales for the company in all sales channels for 10 manufacturer partners, creating much responsibility but like all sales roles, a very rewarding one.
I am still a salesperson, I love new cars, and offering our customers a first-class service in first class premises everywhere. We can offer our customers real choice by brand, model and variants to choose from, in both car and commercial. Sales is fun, when a customer says yes, it is the best feeling, and you can’t wait for the next one. Being part of a team is what it is all about. Together we will achieve more, and the more you sell, the more you will reward yourself.
What I look for in new team members is a ‘can-do’ attitude and lots of positivity. An eagerness to learn, have ambition, and a desire to succeed as part of a successful team. But remember, the customer is always the most important person, be helpful, engaging, polite and respectful, all cornerstones of the Core Values the Vospers business has been built on.
